Interfaith Kirtan for World Peace

A Celebration in Honor of the “Global Garland” 100th Birth Anniversary of Swami Satchidananda.

The Interfaith Kirtan for World Peace is an historic coming together of devotional chants and sacred music from a variety of global faiths. In the sacred space of the world’s largest Gothic Cathedral, we will unite our voices utilizing classic Kirtan call and response.

Musical guests include: Krishna Das, GuruGanesha Singh, C.C. White, Kirtan Rabbi, Mandala, the PS41 Songbirds Choir, Tibetan Gongs with Grand Gongmaster Don Conreaux, and Islamic Call to Prayer. 

Also enjoy the New York premiere of “The Interfaith Vision of Swami Satchidananda” short film.

What may be the very first event of its kind, The Interfaith Kirtan for World Peace is part of the 2014 “Global Garland”—a year-long celebration to commemorate the Centennial of Sri Swami Satchidananda, Integral Yoga® founder and interfaith pioneer.
