Bhakti Bliss Online New Year Retreat with David Newman & Seán Johnson


From our hearts and homes to yours, join us for a sweet and soul-nourishing weekend of chanting, music, satsang, storytelling, poetry, journaling, discussion, and gentle movement to ground yourself in your heart for 2023. David and Seán will share practices and guidance for embracing the path of love and giving kirtan (call-and-response chanting) and bhakti a more prominent place in your life. Joining hearts and voices with conscious intention is the perfect way to create clarity, openness, and expansion for the new year. All sessions will meet on ZOOM.

Schedule (EST): Saturday: 11:30am -1:30pm, 3-5pm

+ Sunday: 11:30am -1:30pm, 3-5pm & 6:30-7:30pm

The sessions will be recorded and made available for folks who register to watch for one week afterwards.

David Newman is a renowned sacred chant master, recording artist, singer-songwriter, best-selling author, and inspirational teacher. He travels extensively, sharing his music and teachings on the path of love as a vehicle for spiritual awakening. He has released numerous chart-topping CDs, including Love Is Awake, and he’s the author of The Timebound Traveler. David is also the founder of the Stay Strong Project and Yoga On Main. Seán Johnson is a musician, songwriter, and storyteller who has been teaching yoga and guiding kirtan for over twenty years. He is the founder of Wild Lotus Yoga studio in his native New Orleans, Soul School, an interdisciplinary Yoga teacher training program that focuses on teaching yoga with skill and imagination, and co-founder of The Auricle Collective, a community of chant and spiritual musicians. He has a master’s degree from Naropa Institute-Oakland, with focus on teaching chant as spiritual practice. He has written for Yoga Journal and is the co-curator of Putumayo World Music’s music-for-yoga compilations. And he is the founder of Seán Johnson & The Wild Lotus Band who have been merging ancient mantras, roots, rock, gospel, and world grooves, recording, and touring for the last 18 years. Seán is also deeply passionate about his Irish roots and co-leads Celtic Spirituality retreats in Ireland each year with his friend Mary Meighan. Seán relishes creating a safe, playful, tender space for people to open their hearts, sing, embrace their innate creativity, and remember who they are.
