Biography
Savitri MacCuish is a global ambassador of peace, international speaker, retreat leader and author. Savitri trains people around the world in authentic leadership, health, meditation, and yoga. The term DRU is related to the North Star. If you look at the starry sky at night, all the stars seem to be orbiting the Polar Star through the rotation of the earth. The North Star itself does not move and seems to be the point of silence in the universe, where everything revolves around.
We can balance body, soul and spirit into that center of silence. Sometimes they influence our body, our emotions and our thinking and we find ourselves in a complete and all-embracing silence. Other times the silence becomes a part of us: we are literally silent (in the middle of our activities) and experience a deep emotion. Or that silence touches us in our thinking so that we get a new insight. For example, through a new perspective on a situation that keeps us captivated, we can marvel at the new openings that bring that insight into relationships, work or meditation.
