This Event is third in a series with intimate evenings of chant, musical artistry, poetry and ritual where we immerse ourselves in the heart-opening magic that only music can provide. 

Our next SoulSong is going to be themed on FORGIVENESS, so we're presenting an internationally flavored event with remarkable musical artists including:

Yari Mander - versatile percussionist, influenced by Ghana, Brazil, Cuba, and Balinese rhythmic styles!

Of course, Gary Malkin will be hosting and performing as well.

SoulSong was conceived to provide our community with an inspiring way to experience a shared spirituality that includes yet transcends religion through the power of music, poetry, chant and ritual. It's designed to open your heart, while unifying and inspiring all of us to celebrate compassion, sustainability, social justice, forgiveness and gratitude during these extraordinary times of change, challenge and divisive unrest. We believe we all would be so nourished if we allow ourselves to participate in creating this musical community event as a village.

These kinds of events create ‘the ties that bind’ within our community in ways that offer a welcoming space to bond and connect with what matters most.

The ensemble, which shifts personnel each time we gather in keeping with the theme, creates an experience in which "We Share our Voices and Hearts" in ways that will transcend time and space! The first two SoulSongs were incredibly well received with an excellent turnout and spirit filling the room! Gary Malkin  was joined by these accomplished, visionary and soulful artists on April 9th and June 4th: Melanie DeMore, Kim Rosen, Barbara Borden, René Jenkins, Ben Leinbach, Ian Dogole and special guest Karen Drucker.

This event is presented by LLoyd Barde Productions and will be held at The Marin School Performing Arts Center

 A pre-concert reception will begin when the doors open at 7 pm
This prayerformance and participatory evening begins at 8 pm
