With 24 Grammy Award nominations combined, Native American flutist, R. Carlos Nakai, and Pianist/Composer, Peter Kater’s, 25-year collaboration has produced some of the most memorable and groundbreaking recordings in the New Age and World Music genres. Their music is intimate, intelligent, soulful, soaring and heart centered.

Multi-platinum selling Pianist/Composer Peter Kater has been leading innovator of contemporary instrumental music for over 3 decades. He’s performed all over the world from the United Nations to the Olympics and Carnegie Hall. He's performed for presidents and celebrities and is a proud recipient of the Environment Leadership Award from the United Nations. Peter has released over 60 critically acclaimed CD's and has scored the music for over 100 television and film productions including Sirius; Civil War: The Untold Story; 10 Questions for the Dalai Lama; and How The West Was Lost plus 11 On & Off-Broadway dramatic plays. He's collaborated with many of the world's most talented musicians, actors and directors and recently received his 12th Grammy Award nomination.

Of Navajo-Ute heritage, R. Carlos Nakai is the world's premier performer of the Native American flute. Since 1983 he has released over 40 albums on the Canyon Records label plus many albums and guest appearances on other labels. In addition to his educational workshops and residencies, Nakai has performed extensively throughout the United States, Europe, and Japan and has performed with over 15 symphony and chamber orchestras. His music has been featured in major dance, film and television productions and his Canyon Trilogy recording is certified Platinum selling, and he’s received a Gold Record for his Earth Spirit recording. These are the first and only Native American recordings to earn this recognition. Nakai has sold over 4 million records and received 12 Grammy Award nominations; an honorary doctorate from Northern Arizona University and was inducted into the Arizona Music & Entertainment Hall of Fame.
