Our principal mission will be to share uplifting music with people that may not have access to it otherwise. This includes instruments, live music, music lessons/teachers, sound equipment, and recorded music. It is hard to believe that in this technological age that everyone doesn’t have some sort of mp3 player or access to instruments! Though the truth is, it is not on the priority list of many people. For example, there are many ‘children’s homes’ in developing countries (that I have been personally involved with) that have been focusing on surviving, and have forgotten about the joy of music. All the staff’s energy goes towards meeting baseline needs: food, water, and shelter. If there is an abundance, many programs begin ‘saving’ for times of potential disaster, or choose to funnel the resources into areas of other importance (i.e. education, agriculture, etc.). The issue I see is that these children are growing older everyday, and many are missing out on their childhood.

Let’s face it, we live in a stressful world. If we can offer tools that bring joy and health into children’s lives, they can find peace and healing amidst the chaos. Our future on this planet looks a lot brighter with happy, healthy people.
