MaMuse: CD Release Party for "Prayers for Freedom"

MaMuse is coming to Unity in Marin to celebrate their new CD “Prayers for Freedom”! This merry duo, comprised of Sarah Nutting & Karisha Longaker, weave voices like a Celtic knot upon a sparse instrumental pallet of upright bass, guitar, mandolins and flutes. Original songs transmitted through the heart & infused with improvisation & storytelling, leave audiences softened and singing along. Creating beauty and magic wherever they go, MaMuse is what a meadow would sound like if it could sing. With their roots in the folk and gospel traditions and their hearts rooted in the present moment, MaMuse crafts music for the next seven generations to thrive on.
