Dear Friends,
Rose Collective and House of Sacred Art present to you an evening of visual art display exhibition, devotional song journey and Cacao ceremony led by the Rose Collective with:
- Elian Kidd: Guitar & Vocals
- Seren Rose: Harmonium & Vocals
- George Heartsong: Keyboard & Vocals
- Marc Clayton: Tabla
The setting will be inside a beautiful Yoga space called The Loft in the heart of Brighton, a modern, light and spacious space and the perfect setting for such an evening.
Elians deepest love in life is devotional song and music. From Christian Gospel, to Sufi Zhkir and Qwaali to the many different bhakti devotional sounds and ancient mantras of India. Sacred Music has been fundamental to Elians spiritual and musical journey so far. Elian sees it as music which acts as a vessel for ones love and carries the heart to towards God, cleansing and healing the soul in the process.
Over the last 6 years Elian has supported, held and lead regular groups in devotional singing across many countries, Predominantly when being based in Brighton, England and also when living in spiritual communities in Guatamala and in Peru.
In Peru being invited to share music in various Plant medicine ceremonies, Elian discovered another great love. The healing songs of medicine traditions of central and South America. From the Brazilian Amazon to the Colombian medicine traditions of Andes.
Sharing music to support the healing journey of participants in these ceremonies has been of the highest joy and fulfilment on Elians path so far.
Elian sets out to bring his deep love and appreciation for these many healing traditions together in a container in which he and fellow musicians will lead participants through a devotional journey of collective prayer and heart song with the trusted support from the beautiful heart opening plant medicine of cacao. Of which he was first introduced while living in Guatemala and connecting with the Mayan culture and traditions. Through the years Cacao has become a great ally and support to Elian’s offerings, the combination of devotional song and prayer with the use of ceremonial cacao together has been honoured and embraced fully as a very beautiful and powerful combination that Elian has great enthusiasm to share .
Elian has complied The Rose Temple song book, which holds over a hundred healing songs and provides this beautifully designed archive of sacred song to participants in his ceremonies where ever he goes.
Elian is also singer song writer, writing and performing his own devotional music and is in the process of recording his first studio album which is planned to be released this Winter. He is sharing his original music with a full band "Elian and Friends" this summer in various music festivals and concerts across the UK.
- Please also bring something comfortable to sit on (yoga mat, cusion, sheepskin, blanket) and any non alcoholic drinks/ water bottle.
- It's also Elian's Birthday so he looks forward to celebrating his specal day with you all.
