Pain is the emotion of change. Shadow is the part of ourselves we have silenced. When we welcome in our shadow, we move through pain and grow into greater authenticity and wholeness. SHADOW WORK is a performance and ceremony of release. It is the moment we acknowledge the parts of ourselves we wish to ignore. Through shadow work, we change, we shift, we open —and from the rubble of our past selves is birthed a new reality.
May we sing into being a new world.
About Midnight Daughter
Described as "a feminine TOOL," Midnight Daughter is the Seattle-based alternative rock project fronted by vocalist Aurora Smedley. Moving between growling rock and tender ballads, Midnight Daughter explores the widest range of human emotion in spellbinding intensity. Gripping, piercing, and breathtaking, the band has earned features on NPR, KEXP, and KISW. Their song "The High" was selected for "Tiny Desk Top Shelf" in 2020.
