Join us for an enchanting evening of music with Shimshai featuring Sasha Rose at the Unitarian Church in Ashland, Oregon on March 21st at 7:30pm. This is Shimshai's first appearance in Ashland since 2022 and could be his only concert this year here. Shimshai will be joined by several exemplary musicians and this show promises to raise the vibes so you can get down and dance!

Shimshai has traveled the world and beyond in search of the expression of truth through music in both original compositions and traditional adaptations. His ever growing collection of recorded music has something for everyone on the path, from sweet and simple acoustic melodies to upbeat infusions with his live band. Known for singing in several languages, Shimshai’s catalog ranges from ceremonial medicine music with his wife Susana, ancient Sanskrit and Hebrew prayers, to modern folk and reggae of his own direct inspiration.

Shimshai has released 10 albums to date, and has been featured on a number of other artists’ projects. He has helped to produce and record albums for many other friends and artists in the spiritual / folk / medicine music genres. Shimshai has performed all over the world including concerts and festivals in Australia, Bermuda, Bahamas, England, Germany, Holland, Finland and throughout Europe, Israel, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, Canada and across the USA. He has been fortunate to share the stage and collaborate with artists such as Jai Uttal, Wah!, Manose, Snatam Kaur, Ram Das, Bhagavan Das, Deepak Chopra, Joan Baez, Xavier Rudd, Michael Franti, Tina Malia, Jah Levi, Tito la Rosa, Alonso del Rio and many others.

• About Sasha Rose
Sasha Rose is a multi-talented Canadian singer/songwriter, musician DJ and producer. Born into a musical family, she started learning to play musical instruments at age 4, and began writing songs at age 12. She got her first taste of international stardom at age 10 while touring Europe as a member of a children's chamber choir. From age 16, she began an extensive professional solo touring career, which has taken her through the U.S, Australia, Canada, Indonesia, South America, and Europe.

Over and extensive touring career as an acoustic artist, Sasha has gained devoted fans throughout the mainland US, Hawaii, Europe, Australia and Canada.  She has been featured at many festivals including Harmony Festival, Symbiosis, Faerieworlds, Beloved Festival, Peace Village Festival, Inlakesh Fest, Relaxpansion Fest, and Mystic Garden Party, Emerge-n-see festival, Enchanted Forest, all 15 years at Earthdance's N.California Hub Event and many others.
