Ecstatic Dance- Sonic Journey

Tricia Chirumbole and Steve Knots are your guides for the evening as we enter sacred space together, with our bodies in motion to embody our common joys and struggles, and send out healing for all the current suffering in the world, near and far, outside of us, and within our own hearts.

Ecstatic Dances are ALL ages, Substance-free, Family friendly, Free-form movement experiences. Kids 16 + under are FREE! And must be accompanied by an adult.

We invite you to step into a space where the inner world of sensation and emotion are your guides. Through sonic vibrations and light facilitation, we will tap into the energetic fabric of Being that connects us all across space and time…

Music from across the globe will fill the space with the rich texture of humanity - diverse voices connecting as one through the universal language of bass and dance.

What to Expect:
An opening circle to set intentions and connect with fellow dancers on a somatic level
Free-form movement journey, inviting sensation & emotion as your guides to authentic expression
Earthy, bouncy organic grooves and live flute performance
Ambient meditation to cool down and integrate
Closing Circle with Global Peace Meditation & Community Sharing
Social hour with extra tunez and surprise snacks for community bonding!
Community agreements to support a space where we can feel free to surrender, release, feel & express without judgment, and to show up in your wholeness 

Music & Movement:
The music will ramp up from a slow introduction to an energetic peak, then smoothly come back down the mountain and return to the ocean of calmness. We encourage you to dance freely, release pent-up energy, and find serenity in movement. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or new to ecstatic dance, this event welcomes everyone to express themselves authentically.

Requiem Witch is a musician, producer, DJ and audio engineer based in Pittsburgh, PA. Using her extensive education, mixing expertise, and classical flute training, she has been able to craft original music that expresses a part of her that has been digging and clawing to get out. With her recent original releases, remixes and DJ mixes, she takes listeners on an emotional journey from deep, heavy bass, nature sounds from around the world, glitchy drum grooves and mind bending synths, to a symphony of heart breaking flute melodies.

Steve Knots is a musician, producer and DJ with family roots going back more than 100 years in Pittsburgh. He’s spent the last 25 years making original music, DJ’ing, traveling, and working as a live sound engineer. Now he’s evolved past clubdrug events into the sacred bass genre where music and medicine overlap.
