Zahira is a cultured renaissance woman from Canada whose pure, powerful, and resonant voice has received rave reviews from fans and critics around the world. Her success as an internationally known vocalist, songwriter, and musician inspires people to be strong and positive, and she faces life every day with a special energy that lights up each stage she performs on. Zahira completed her first limited-edition EP in 2011, released singles “Summertime” and “Easy Days” in 2013, and later released her full-length album, “Rise Up”. In 2016 she released her latest single “Ascension” which is a dance anthem for revolution. Zahira’s soulful reggae single “Stand Strong” was officially released with her animated music video release in Spring of 2018. She currently just released a new single July 28th 2018 called “Mystic One” featuring backing band  “RISING BUFFALO TRIBE” and will have a music video to follow. She is also working on an album which will be released in Fall 2019. No stranger to the music industry, Zahira has toured internationally since 2008 and collaborated with Luciano, Sly & Robbie, Yami Bolo, KRS-One, Red Fox, Don One Sound, Indubious, Bibi McGill (Music Director / Lead Guitar @ BEYONCE). She has recently shared the bill with The Original Wailers, Junior Reid, Yung JR, Chezidek, Prezident Brown, Indubious & The Lambsbread. Zahira has played to crowds at a number of festivals in places including USA, Canada, Israel, Bali and Thailand, bringing the spirit of love and unifying the masses.
